KATRINA BARBER

The art of new media artist Katrina Barber illuminates, not only for the viewer, but in a most direct and intimate way the artist herself.

Katrina’s practice is directly informed by her experience as a Deaf artist, her artwork opening pathways for communication.

Her paintings, watercolours and sculptures are self-reflective transient feelings as well as explorations and examinations of light that traverse the personal and innate to process driven theoretical creations.

Katrina has been an active member of Mixed Palette for over 10 years.
