ABOUT US

Mixed Palette’s core group of artists who have intellectual disability open their art workshops to the whole of their community. Their inclusiveness benefits everyone. 

​These workshops are Artist facilitated, providing playful creative exploration with different materials and techniques for all and are open to the wider community, every week. 

More tailored workshops are also run each week for exhibiting or emerging artists who benefit from Artist Mentoring, assisting with their individual art practice.

These tailored workshops play an important role in supporting the many skills required in the art sector, including mastering technical skills, understanding the back-end of art making, submitting works for exhibition, sale and competitions, as well as growing confidence in and ownership of their practice.
